Workspace Management

Manage

Understand your Muchat workspace, switch organizations, and manage your team's access.

Overview

A workspace brings together your agents, team members, subscription, and credit usage. In the Muchat dashboard, a workspace is called an organization. Each organization has its own agents, members, and capacity; belonging to several organizations does not combine their credits or permissions.

What you can do

Select the active organization, create its agents, and choose which dashboard areas each team member can access.

Getting started with a workspace

When you create an account, Muchat creates a personal organization for you and makes you its owner. You can update its name, picture, and information in settings.

Check the active organization

Your current organization's name appears at the top of the dashboard sidebar. If you belong to several organizations, click its name and select the organization you want. After switching, the agents and information you see belong to that organization.

Set up the organization details

Open Settings → Organization → Organization Settings to set the organization's name, website, and picture. See general workspace settings for details.

Create an agent and invite members

Follow Build Your First AI Agent. To collaborate with your team, send invitations and choose permissions from Members.

Joining another organization

The invitation is sent to the email address or phone number entered by the organization owner. Sign in with that same identifier and open the organization invitation in your dashboard notifications. Once you accept it, you can select the organization from the list at the top of the sidebar.

If you do not want to join, reject the invitation. A pending invitation does not grant access to the organization's information.

Roles and permissions

The organization owner invites team members and selects permissions to match their responsibilities. Invited members join the organization with the user role.

The available permissions are Can manage inbox, Can manage agents, Can manage knowledge base, Can manage forms, Can manage analytics, and Can manage contacts. These permissions apply to areas within the active organization.

For features such as analytics reports, consider both the member’s permissions and the organization’s plan features.

See workspace members for invitation, permission editing, and cancellation steps.
